Abstract—Two of the IoT challenges are many nodes that active simultaneously and limited link bandwidth. The challenges can be overcome by using a scheduling algorithm for channel allocation. A known centralized scheduling algorithms that mentioned in standard is Traffic Aware Scheduling Algorithm (TASA). TASA is a scheduling algorithm devoted to the IEEE 802.1.4e TSCH network. With reference to TASA, this research proposes a scheduling algorithm, named as IR-TASA, which can improve the performance of TASA in terms of speed to create time slot schedule for IEEE802.15.4e network. The results show that IRTASA increases the speed up to 5 times as compared to TASA, with a relatively equal duty cycle.
