Abstract—OVPN over IP/GMPLS over DWDM technologywith QoS assurances is considered as a promising approachfor the next generation OVPN. In this paper, we suggest amulticast OLSP (Optical Label Switched Path)establishment mechanism for supporting high bandwidthmulticast services in OVPN over IP/GMPLS over DWDM.For the establishment of the multicast OLSP, we propose anew multicast tree generation algorithm VS-MIMR thatfinds the minimum interference path between virtual sourcenodes. We also suggest an entire OVPN control mechanismto adapt the operation of the routing and signaling protocolsof GMPLS.
